Lisa Ellis joins the Lincoln Clinical Trials Unit

On 1st June Lisa Ellis started her new post as administrator to the Lincoln Clinical Trials Unit. Prior to joining Lisa has worked in the Health & Social care arena, including the private and public sector.  Lisa has worked on many bespoke software systems as an administrator and a superuser, including; Datix (Incident and Risk), Mosaic (Social care) and SystemOne (NHS).

Lisa coordinated Serious Incident Review meetings with different NHS professionals and departments, ranging from; Consultants, Matrons, Heads of Departments, Infection Control, PALs and Complaints department, working closing with the governing body to ensure all reports are completed before deadlines. Actions were recorded and feedback given to relevant ward/department considering lessons learned as well as updating these findings onto the Risk Register.

Lisa has worked within The Data Protection Act 2018 as part of the UK’s implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).  Lisa worked for Lincolnshire Police, gathering information, retaining and disposing of both crime and non-crime occurrences, creating an informed judgement on how to handle the information held by looking at the risk evident across multiple databases.

Lisa held the post of Wellbeing Champion whilst working with Lincolnshire Police.
